Treatment:

After assessing your child, I will then be able to make a tailored treatment plan specific to their condition/complaints and goals. Treatment aims to be age appropriate and fun but ensuring that it meets your child’s needs.

Physiotherapy treatments can come in many forms and this is likely to include exercises as part of a home exercise programme. A list of common treatments I am able to provide are listed below:

• Muscle stretching exercises
• Muscle strengthening exercises
• Taping
• Core stability exercises
• Footwear/Orthotic advice
• Massage
• Manual therapy and mobilisations
• Postural correction advice and exercises
• Advice and demonstration of positioning and handling advice for babies
• Gait and balance exercises/training

All treatment sessions are arranged to suit you and your family. The initial assessment will last around 45-60 minutes and any subsequent review appointments will depend on your children’s treatment plan which can be discussed prior to appointments being booked.
